That would be The Victorinox Alox Harvester

Here is tang:
kj
That tang stamp was used on the Alox SAKS 1975-85. Notice the size of the letters are all the same. No tang stamp on pile side. If it has the Elinox Crossbow stamp on the pile side then it is from 1957-74 .Here is a photo of the tang stamps from sakhome.com, showing mark side and pile side of the master blade. The next year was a little larger lettering and the "V" was larger than the others.

Thank you Smitty. These older red Alox Farmer knives are quite sought after so i'm happy to now know that mine is from 1975-85. I have a friend who is a contractor and bought his new in early 1970's. He still uses it on a daily basis. They really are Great EDC's.

Thanks for posting that photo, Smitty. I suspect that's an old photo, as the V seems to have reverted back to being the same size as the other letters. Another possibility is that my eyes are playing tricks on me. (Assuming my eyes are okay, the change probably occurred around 2011, in line with the 91mm models.) This is the tang stamp on my recently purchased Pioneer carrier.

That is a great testimonial! At that rate, I'll be carrying that Pioneer well into my 90s.

Got a little behind on posting so here is another bay floater. A Camillus WW2 Navy General Utility knife. The bone on these old knives, to me, are just about perfect. And after the 72 this is my favorite pattern. Thanks for looking. A couple of more pics in the Camillus forum.

That's a beautiful old knife, Dlegg! It reminds me a lot of an old Utica EO that I have.

Dan, what are the blades/tools on a "Pioneer carrier" ? I am assuming "carrier" is a Pioneer variation.
