The 825RB was actually made and sold from 1964 to 1988, per the Schrade Knife Reference Guide in this link. People can't find the Razor Blade Stainless knives sometimes because they are in a separate sub-catagory far down the Open Stock Knives list. Click on the link, find Open Stock Knives and click on it. Scroll way down until you come to the “RAZOR BLADE STAINLESS” T.M. KNIVES section. There you will find the 825RB.Coinfolio wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 5:32 pm Here is the 825 SS Western slim stainless. 3 9/16. Shield has stainless stamped on it, tang has Schrade + on top line with U.S.A. 825 underneath. According to Orvet's research these were made in 71-72 . Had a chance at two of them so got em both.

825RB knives with the Schrade + tang stamp were produced and sold in the last few years leading up to 1988. The knives made from '64 to '73 are tang stamped in at least 3 variations of Schrade Walden which was the name of the company then. Some with the 825 stamped on the back of the blade. The company changed it's name and in '74 the tang stamps changed to the 4 line stamp shown below. Then some time after that it changed again to the 3 line tang stamp with the model # stamped as SS825, also shown below. The last tang stamp appeared in the last few years of 825RB production because they changed the previously used stainless steel to the new Schrade + steel. These knives came with and without the Razor Blade logo stamped on the blade. I only own 2 of the knives pictured and the rest are from my photo files I keep on my laptop. I chose the pics that showed the stamps best. Hope you don't mind me correcting your post. It was driving me nuts and I got a little carried away. LOL...OCD
