A couple of FINE additions to your collection, Smitty.
Thank you Floyd. Yes..... you need to post it!!
Very nice Jerry. I've got one with similar handles to the one in the top photo, but never seen one as red as the one in the bottom photo. That's a beaut!!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 2:49 am Yeah, Craftsman made by Ulster. Take a peek at these two.
Appreciate it Skip. The only reason I picked up the Craftsman was because it was such a dark brown, almost black. It's the darkest handles of all the Craftsman whittlers I have so far.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 2:10 pm A couple of FINE additions to your collection, Smitty.![]()

Great find Skip. I always liked the look of the milled liners on those.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 3:37 pm Yesterday afternoon, I added this pocket knife to my CAMILLUS 72 variation/clone collection. It's another POWR-KRAFT USA, 3 blade, swelled center, milled liners, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. Although it isn't stamped or marked anywhere on the pocket knife, it is the 84-11 pattern. This is my fifth POWR-KRAFT pocket knife. Three have the shield like the one pictured below and have no pattern # stamped or marked. But, the three do have milled liners. Two have the "federal" style shield, have the pattern # tang stamped, but do not have milled liners. This one required a little cleaning. I took a few pictures and here it is.
Thank you Smitty.
Very nice addition to your stash . Wasn’t aware of that many Power - Kraft different pieces . Have only one and will need to get it out to see what one it is. Appreciate the info and pics.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 3:37 pm Yesterday afternoon, I added this pocket knife to my CAMILLUS 72 variation/clone collection. JP, you're welcome and also, thank you.
Thank you Floyd.
Be it bone or Delrin, I wouldn't kick that one out of my collection. A great find!
Awesome find FLoyd. Especially with the box and papers. Need to get you a good magnifying lens maybe a X45 loop. Great looking knife regardless of the handle composition.doglegg wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 3:03 pm Fished this McGrew Hillbilly Classic out of the bay recently. It is NOS complete with paperwork. After getting it and looking at the handles I am wondering if this might also be one of the black bone knives. Remington, Ole Smoky, Harley Davidson and Camillus 72 I am aware of but after looking this one over and comparing it to those the handles sure look the same. What do you think. Thanks for looking.
