My TwoSun collection .. ::suspense::

TS 89 D2 - Factory Edge = 450
TS 81 D2 - Factory Edge = 200 / Whetstone Grinder = 400
TS 208 D2 - Guided 22deg 180 grit edge = 250
TS 16 D2 - Factory = 300 / Guided = 250 / Whetstone grinder = 650
TS 116 14c28n - Factory = 100 / Guided = 400
TS 09 D2 - Guided = 200 / whetstone grinder = 150
TS 134 14c28n - Factory 150 / Lansky 80 grit = 100
TS 123 M390 - Guided = 150 / Whetstone grinder = 600
TS 221 M390 - Factory = 100

I will have to re-visit a few of these ..
The first will be the TS221 M390 .. Was disappointing for M390
I have dis assembled the knife , and will put the blade to the whetstone grinder ASAP
A bad factory grind can make such a huge difference . ( My TS16 is kind of proof of that )
And that TS09 , what jaw dropping performance ( bad ) .

100 Slice fail on the factory edge ... ::tu::

Time to re visit the TS221 with a whetstone grinder / ground edge .
The factory edge was not the worst I have seen , and was relatively easy to clean up with a freshly ground edge .
I like this knife , except for the stupid bump they put on the spine . ::mdm::

Yeah , right where you want to push down with with your index finger = What a PARKING pain in the glutes .
Looks great , visually speaking . Feels horrible !
Way to ::shrug:: a good design .

Performance , is up from a 100 fail ( factory edge )
Unfortunately , we have had really bad ( wet ) weather and the humidity has been high .
But I could not pass up a sunny afternoon , even though it had been raining all morning and the humidity was high .
That paper sucked moisture , and wet paper does not slice well .
I stopped at 350 , but when I came inside I grabbed a fresh sheet of dry paper and it sliced ok .
The TS221 might have gone 400 or 450 if not for the humidity . It was certainly down on cutting power and getting close to being done .
So I'm calling it a 350 pass rather than fail . ( Again ? , who knows where it might have stopped with dry paper )

Very nice collection. ::tu::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I'm sure you'll get them doing what they're supposed to...
