2 barlows in crosscut mammoth. The last is a Case stockman.
I swear, I'm about ready to give up on Case knives. I have the worst luck trying to blend bolster pins on them. Does anyone else have that problem with Case knives?

I absolutely love those two Barlows!
In answer to your question about CASE stockmans, on the few I have tried I haven't had much luck.

Excellent work, glennbad.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

All three of those knives are beautiful, Glenn.

Yes, I have the same problem Glenn. I never know when they aren't going to blend in. I've given up trying to figure it out and I just assume that's the way it is. Beautiful work on those knives !glennbad wrote: ↑Wed Aug 18, 2021 12:19 am 2 barlows in crosscut mammoth. The last is a Case stockman.

Artistry that is beautiful to the eye and I’m sure in-hand, the pleasure is easily doubled. Once again Glenn your work does not disappoint.

Those really do look great! I agree about the pin blending. I think it is because the metal composition of the new pin material we get today is different than that used in the old knives. And that is true of other brands beside Case too. Just my assessment for what it's worth.
