Western???

Post by Jody744 »

got a single blade lockback, stamped western USA 532 F
blade etch of a deer
wood handles
back handle is cracked, and rear bolsters are banged up.
should I use it, or is someone looking for one?????
it's bigger than I normally carry, but I thought it was neat

Look like this one? These do have some collector following, expect an average of 60-75 depending on condition, with a cracked scale it would drop a good bit. These are not especially rare and if you like it then carry it, you can't really hurt it. Western made these with various animals, deer, cougars, ducks, etc etched on the blade. I would work some good two part epoxy into the crack to stabilize tho.
