hey paul, i looked at three catt. books and could not find one knife with a main blade like that. also he notes he is showing the small blade mark, why not the main blade mark? the knife is very clean, why is the pattern # mostly worn off? i would pass on it. jmo maybe someone else has more.

Lucky Paul.
The knife in question looks to be a 22559 Equal End Pen. The main blade has definately been reworked.Should ask the seller to try and read the number onthe main blade. The Catt. stamp is so good on the one side,I doubt if the number should be worn away so it's unreadable.

22559 would be genuine stag wouldn't it? i think the main blade is a ringer. clear stamps and the pattern # worn away? hmmmmmm

Thanks johnnie, Fran and patch1; he is the same seller with the Challenge knife . I would like to have both of these brands. But will wait until; I know that I am getting the real thing. Thanks for the advice guys; wished I had found AAPK a long time ago.
