hey paul, i looked at three catt. books and could not find one knife with a main blade like that. also he notes he is showing the small blade mark, why not the main blade mark? the knife is very clean, why is the pattern # mostly worn off? i would pass on it. jmo maybe someone else has more.

Both blades have dark spots where the ( otherwise refinished ) blades meet the shoulder of the tangs.

Weld job ?

I can't get much interested in ebay knives anymore unless there are BIG pictures, it's cheap enough to take a chance on, or I know the seller.

Lucky Paul.
The knife in question looks to be a 22559 Equal End Pen. The main blade has definately been reworked.Should ask the seller to try and read the number onthe main blade. The Catt. stamp is so good on the one side,I doubt if the number should be worn away so it's unreadable.
