2009 CNJ Knife Community Survey

Post by OldToenailCollector »

Change is inevitable, isn't that what they say? Well, the community of knife collectors is changing too. All you have to do is think back to just 10 years ago to see all the changes. Most good, some not so good.

The web offers so much to us, but it also fragments us to a certain extent. And now we have many groups of collectors, instead of one main association or club to survey to get an accurate profile.

I wanted to ask your help. Over at Cutlery News Journal we are taking a survey of the entire knife community. It is 10 simple questions and will only take 30 seconds. Nothing personal. No name. No email addresses.

And once the YouTube generation comes to participate the results could be to be skewed...There are a lot of over there who are not part of the established "knife community." And while we very much want them to be involved (which is why I have continually reach out to them)...they tend to be the younger generation, generally speaking.

Thanks for your help. Encourage others as you can to help too.

Hey guys
I just realized the service I used for the "free" polling maxed out 100 votes, so I had to upgrade it (for $20 @ mth :( )

But I did! Please return and vote if you found it closed.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
