I'm pretty sure one was a subsidiary of the other at some point. Whatever the case may be, that's a pretty neat knife. Thanks for the additional pictures!

Victorinox Master Gardener (a somewhat uncommon retired model, produced only for SMKW in 2005; but it's actually good for garden work), Victorinox Minichamp, CRKT Folts Minimalist Bowie (really good fixed blade for its size and $25 cost), Buck 301, and Leatherman Skeletool (with aftermarket 3D printed "Rescue Hammer" accessory attached--which gives me the hammer and strap cutter of the MUT at half the weight and none of the unneeded firearms/EOD specific tools).

The Skeletool's pliers are too wimpy (but thin enough to fit into tight spaces); so small Knipex combination pliers got added; and I had to completely restart my keychain after a long-term misplacing of my old set, and at present, selected the Crescent Toolzall Pocket Pro (Mini Bear Jaws by Bear and Son) for the job.

Thanks R.P. :) It has a great feel in my hand and the handle material checkered Kraton is very durable. I have Cold Steel Knives over 30 years old that the handles are like brand new. This knife was made prior to 2007. This knife was actually made by Camillus. Camillus made the Carbon V knives here in the US for Cold Steel before going out of business. I think Camillus went out of business in 2007 and a fire destroyed part of original Camillus factory in 2013. After the bankruptcy, the original Camillus factory remained empty until it was partly destroyed by the fire. I don't know if they made knives in any other factories.
