Anyone Else going to Queen Knife Show?

Post by PA Knives »

HEY!

I plan on attending the Queen Knife show on July 22, and if any of our fellow knife nuts would like to say hello please let me know. I would love to put a face with the names. No doubt there will be tables teaming with mint Pa knives just waiting for my wallet to come out. "there might be so others there too, but come on is there any others?????" I may be just a little bias.

See ya thier.

Hey David and others,

Might you be kind enough to give us poor souls who can't make it a report on how the show turns out...

David,
I noticed on another thread that you are taking a camera? I'm excited about maybe seeing some pictures ::tu:: ::tu::

Titusville Show

Post by galvanic1882 »

The show was very interesting for me as I meet some new knife nuts and some old friends that were there. Looked over some rare PA knives that a collector has. Pennsylvania Knife Co etched small jack. If the knife was bigger I would have traded one of my etched Maher & Grosh knives for it. I did see a J.T. Mount NJ 5 blade pearl with covered backsprings and etched. Was not able to make a deal at the show for it but did when I got home. Seller will let me pay in 2 weeks. As soon as I get the knife I will post a picture of it on the site.

All of you viewers out there help me sell the knives that will be open for bid on ebay starting tomorrow 7/27 at noon PDT. I have a Cattaraugus Wharncliffe Whittler that I tried selling on ebay before but never reached my reserve of 200. I have put a reserve of 150.00 on it this time. I also put up for auction a RARE Wincheaster knife opener with bone handle. I would love to hear of any knives from Scranton PA for sale. Weeks Hardware Co should be the mark.

Happy hunting Mike

Thanks for the reports!

Glad to hear you had a good time. Sounds like the event was a success.

Mike, have you listed your knives on eBay yet? I'd like to see them. Especially the Cattaraugus. Do you have a link or two?

J.T. MOUNT Knife

Post by galvanic1882 »

Here is a look at the J.T. MOUNT pearl handled knife I talked about. Made a mistake and typed 5 blade but it is a 4 blade. Nice etch and look at the covered backspring. The pearl is just full of colors.
