Re: Show off your Winchester Knives
I love those black box Winchesters...some of the hardest snap of any knife I've ever owned.
Here's one I got recently...a bit different from the true Winchester classics mostly being shown here, and somewhat of a departure from my normal collecting focus...but for some reason it called to me and I heard it.

I love that knife, Q! It would really be popular in Munich at Oktoberfest.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: Show off your Winchester Knives
Here’s a set of 6 that received last week. Purchased from a member here, they are very well built, in excellent shape, well cared for . Now some may know, rather have bone than stag when collecting. But when I saw these and communicated with the Seller ,We made a deal. Whenever I see these now, am reminded of how life changes, and we should really enjoy what we can, when we can.
Tony, Thank you Sir, I will be reminded of you and the connection these knives have with you for as long as they are here in my care . They’re beautiful knives ,by the way, just like you said

That is a beautiful set of knives.
Glad they are able to stay together.
Enjoy, and always remember why they passed your way.
Much appreciated.

I don't have a lot of Winchester's, but here are a few that I have one display in my office.

Mailman brought me this 4 1/2", 2880 Texas Jack last week. Is this jigging called Peachseed?

I call it beautiful, Desert Golfer. Nice find!
Here are a few I have, all modern, mostly made by Queen through Blue Grass Cutlery (I think). Included are an interesting Two Blade Cigar (kind of like a Moose), an actual Moose, and a Seahorse Whittler type.

This is an interesting one. It started out as a very nice GlitterStripe Celluloid Winchester marked Large Coke Bottle. But a few years ago, the celluloid started outgassing and it had to come off. Painted Pony made the scales you see using individual pieces of their Mica Pearl (aka Corelon) material. Even the white spacers. It was their first attempt at doing this. It looks fantastic in the sun, but none was available when I took this picture.

And finally, here is a Dogleg Teardrop Jack shown with a Case Teardrop Jack, and a Large Cigar Whittler. Hard to see the Wichester tang stamp on the Whittler, but its there.

Nice knives Hardman, got a nice pile started. Desert Golfer that is amazing find on that 2880. I wonder how Winchester came up with that peach seed bone. I have a replica catalog and that 2880 is in there and identical to your knife.

Thanks much David and luckydog64. I have one or two more around here somewhere, including a real nice Stag Large Coke Bottle and I am very concerned that I can't find it.
