Nice n' colorful group Q! Is the knife with the brown covers and elongated bolster a Kershaw "Wild Turkey"? Thx!QTCut5 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 10:01 pm Man you guys are scoring some real fine knives.

Some great looking 'new' knives lately.
Received my Case 6254 JMM Trapper w/dark red saw cut bone. I'm really pleased with this one. I'm not an avid Case fan, but I'm glad I picked this one up. I did not know it was going to be individually serialized. I thought it was only going to say; "1 of 125" on the blade. A JMM signed COA to boot. That's a nice touch. Not too bad for $60.00.
Thanks for l@@king...

VERY NICE Ken! Came with all the bells n' whistles too, not to mention the teriffic price. Beautiful covers on that baby, that's for sure! That guitar shield is super-cool too! Congrats!KLJ77 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 10:54 pm Some great looking 'new' knives lately.![]()

I wish it were smooth white bone, but it's some kind of synthetic (plastic) material. I actually got that knife specifically to have re-handled/modified. It's a Schrade+ USA 175.

It is indeed. I love the made-in-Japan Kershaw knives and the Wild Turkey has long been one of my favorite patterns. I tend to buy them whenever I can and then end up giving them away...but, I think I'll hang onto this one for awhile. Handle is Cocobolo wood.

Cudgee, now you've got me thinking of buying a knife for the express purpose of getting it re-handled. (I could probably put new Cellidor scales on a Swiss Army knife, but I'd leave anything else to someone who knows what they're doing.) Whether that's a good or a bad thing, I don't yet know!

Y’all sure are bringing in the big fish here lately! Good show one and all.
I liberated a couple of Camillus HOKs from dad the last couple of days. One is an old granddaddy Barlow with some miles on it, but a lot of life left in it yet. The other is a bone handled lock back that screams left over parts knife, but whatever it is, it’s well done and will get some time on the farm!
The yellow stain on the lock back blade is just a reflection or glare.

Buck variety pack arrived today. All unused, looking forward to helping them build a memory! The Decatur reminds me of a steak knife, think that’s what I’ll use it for.

Found another floating in the bay that held a little secret. A #11 Tip Top Barlow with bone handles and a no line tang stamp. A very pleasant surprise indeed. Thanks for looking. More pics in the Camillus forum.
