Those are fantastic, Pete. Cool thing is, I think Buffalo Cut Co. went out of business in 1926 or so... Great finds!

Solid looking utility knife Dan!Dan In MI wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 9:20 pm This one got in yesterday, but I was a little late showing it. Camillus electrician's knife, late 1970s to late 1980s. A very nice knife that'll see some carry time. Thanks, GSPTOPDOG!

NICE Smitty!Papa Bones wrote: ↑Fri Jun 04, 2021 11:29 pm Received a couple more Camillus this week.
First, another Camillus 21 Pony Jack to add to the corral. It has the long line Camillus tang stamp on the front side of the clip blade, with 21 on the pile side and a pen secondary blade. It has the brown jigged( what Camillus called "Brownstag") handles, and was not produced with a shield. Blades are tight, great snap, no wobble, have the factory luster, but does have some spotting. Inside of blade well and springs are clean. The only thing I've done is oil the joints. Here are the photos.

Next I added a Camillus 14 Serpentine Jack. It is also has the Camillus long line tang stamp on the front side of the clip blade with 14 on the pile side, with a pen secondary blade. The blades are tight, no wobble, and great snap. They have the original luster, but do have some staining and spots. The Handles are the Brownstag handles with a federal shield. The handles do have some slight oxidation, but I believe I can cure that with the usual warm mineral oil soak. Inside the blade well is clean with just some slight spotting on the springs. At the present time all I've done is oil the joints. Here are the photos.

A 10 dot Case 6333 basket case. It was super rusty, and needed a bone patch on the pile side,
but she cleaned up nicely. This one will be opening lots of mail and cleaning under fingernails.
Not bad for $5.00 though!
The other is a 1988 Buck 110. It had been used, but not abused. She just needed a little TLC
and a sharpening.I did clean her up though since the sheath had deposited the lovely green gunk
that the like to leave when interacting with brass bolsters. A pretty good woods toter for $30.00.IMG_1708 (2).JPGIMG_1710 (2).JPGIMG_1706 (4).JPG

Marc, thank you. Rest assured l will be on the hunt for more Camillus 27s!
Toomanyknives, Pete, John, and Jerry: all nice pick-ups. Here are mine: five knives, plus a knife roll. Top to bottom: Buck 112 (to be seen later), Victorinox Fisherman, Victorinox Pioneer (thanks, jmh58; your end of the trade goes out on Monday!), Victorinox Farmer in limited edition green Alox, and Victorinox Bantam (red Alox, just like one I previously showed).
The unboxing (a bit long, and rated PG for one strong word):

New arrivals today. More to add to my Dave Shirley Marbles collection. After getting these two, I wish I had bid higher on the other two that got away. The pictures on these were so poor I was hoping that they were decent, but after I saw this Congress, I about fell out of my chair. Hands down this is the best Congress in my collection. You don’t often see the bark on stag right up to the bolsters like this on a Congress. To say that I am pleased is putting it mildly.

Thanks Rick, I don’t say this often, but that Congress is one that will have to pried from my cold dead hand. I consider most knives to just be in my care for a time, but there are ones, like this, that break the mold.

Saw these on Thursday, ordered them the same day from SMKW
and they were just delivered by FedEx. That is one of the fastest
deliveries I've received.

Very nice set there David!
I like that SMKW uses Fedex. I had the same experience. Ordered on a Thursday and Fedex dropped it off at about 8:45am that Saturday. I don’t think I’ve ever received a package that early in the morning. I’ve gotten packages in 2 days before by USPS but it’s seldom and it’s usually early or late afternoon.
