These came in the mail today from a good friend. Thanks Bud They are the IFRC set from 1999. I am trying to get all of the club sets and I have a long ways to go.
Those are great looking James with great pictures as always. As I said a while back your knives are very impressive... I love the big spatula and the "club" shield...Nice..I do have a question though, did you show your wife this set yet??

“The farmer is the only man in our economy who buys everything at retail, sells everything at wholesale, and pays the freight both ways”
No, she hasn't seen them so maybe I will get to keep them for myself. She has a pearl and stag 'Doctors Companion' 2 blade set anyway so I don't feel too guilty. I guess I need to show a picture of them sometime.
I also received this 1988 II pearl sowbelly stockman club knife from the same friend 1988 was the last year for individual IFRC knives. Starting in 1989 the club knives were done in stag and pearl sets like the Doctors knives I posted above.
Mighty fine Rooster's you came with Farmer,,,they would look REALLY good in my collection!!!!
Next time I come to the Home state to see my ole man I may need to get you to teach me how to take pics,,,no matter what I try I cant seem to master it.
Yup, Farmer. Born and raised there,,,migrated south in 1979 and been here ever since. My folks are all still there and I try to go back home a couple of times a year. Always go back in November for deer season and hunt with dad and we take the kids up in July. Dad lives just outside of Thomasville,,,you would have to look REALLY hard on a map to even find it,,,LOL.

Hey James, hope all is well with you down there in the Heel,,,I know ya'll got hit pretty hard last week.
My Dad finally got power back yesterday but, he said it is gonna take him a month or more to clean up. He lives out in the sticks and he has 157 old pine trees in his yard that is now 142. Fortunately only 2 of them went through roofs. Kinda made the old man a little grumpy to say the least.
