Realized that I failed to post my latest here. Fished it out of the bay. A four line Camillus half whittler. Didn't know there was such a critter but found a couple of other post here from the past. More in the Camillus forum.

Smitty, I-Man, and Doglegg: those are all terrific knives, and some great extras from Scott, too!
Here is my latest, purchased from GSPTOPDOG: an "Old Crafty" Stockman. It was made for Sears, and I'm pretty sure it was made by Schrade. It's right around four inches long. Though it shows signs of wear and light use, I think it still looks pretty darn good. Not long after I finished up with the unboxing video, it went into my pocket! Here are the pictures:
And the unboxing video:
Thanks again, GSPTOPDOG. I'm absolutely delighted with this one!

Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Received this Whittler from one of our members here. When this one came up it was one that really filled the bill for me. What little info am aware of is Duane Cutlery was around in the early 1900s ,maybe 1910 to 1920. Tangs stamped all 3 blades, half stop all 3 blades. Main blade rides on 2 springs that have the wedge to split for secondary blade and file to operate on there own spring. Will do some research on the maker,if someone has any info and would share ,that would be great .
Thanks for a great knife Boji, super Service and shipping too. Above what expected.
Happy Memorial Day weekend to you all

That's a beauty, WillyC. And a great haul of books to add to your knife reference library. I'm particularly intrigued by the two Schatt & Morgan books (blue--top row center & gray--top row right)--what years do they cover?WillyCamaro wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 12:30 am And to round things out, first Jeffin Custom finally home.

Willy, my friend, I was reading this thread and got to wondering if bighomer's Queen made Winchester might be a pattern #11 rather than the #19?WillyCamaro wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 12:15 am![]()

The 19 has heavier bolsters than the 11 which I believe was only made with one blade. Both are the same length but there are some differences. Just something to chew on.

Surp,
They are reprints of S&M's #1 & #2 Catalogues, 1903/1907, snagged from Mr.Galv earlier this year.
