That's a fine knife and a real handful, too! I've got one but not in that great condition.New_Windsor_NY wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 10:22 pm This afternoon I added this to my "general" CAMILLUS cutlery collection. It's a CAMILLUS 23, 2 blade pocket knife. It came with the original box and paperwork. It is in NEAR MINT condition and required no cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.

Thank you Philip.
Thank you Dan.
It was less than $50, including the working man's
punishment fee and shipping. I got it on eBay.

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
Currently there's a short-line 23 on eBay that appears to be in very good condition. It's paired with a #1 that's very worn and the bid is $20 with 4 days to go. ---► https://www.ebay.com/itm/402852554535Dan In MI wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 2:37 amThat is such a good-looking pattern, and in excellent shape, too. Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
I've never heard it put that way, and it's entirely accurate...especially considering your location.
That is a price I'd be willing to pay. If bidding doesn't get too crazy, I will be very tempted on that one.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 10:02 am Currently there's a short-line 23 on eBay that appears to be in very good condition. Nice 902. That’s the pro master series,or something like that . Late eighties ,early 90 s . There out there , if you do a search you’ll find a few and some good info. The handle material and size makes it a great user knife .

I just buy what I like. Does that make me a collector or an accumulator?

Thanks! I was out yesterday and I missed a really good knife by a few minutes at the flea-market. I got to see the guy take it away with a pile of other stuff he bought at the space and I just missed it by
strolling along and not moving faster. I tried to buy it off the guy after he bought it and he would not sell it. It was a dagger made in Austria... and I love and collect daggers. He paid $1.00 for it...

Thanks!

Re: Show Us Your Camillus Knives!
I found this 4 line Camillus half whittler listed on ebay the other day and thought it might be a franken knife but bought it anyway. Then I found this old post where Tommy (carrmillus) made reference to one and also a catalogue page of one listed. It is the size of a 72 but thinner. It has a single back spring and has half stops on the secondary blade but not the primary. Also an ingenious little brass spacer on the secondary end. No stamping on the blades except for the four line stamp. I must say that I am totally stoked to have gotten it.
