Kerry! Those bolster are off the hook! Never seen slanted bolsters before, ::shrug:: very nice! Gorgeous color covers too! Hard to beat NOS! 8)
Thanks Marco! I really like them too. I think I'm going to do some digging, and see if they have anymore patterns with the slant bolsters. Because I REALLY NEED some more knives!! ::ds::
LOL! I hear ya Kerry, there's no such thing as enough knives! 8)

Those are pretty unique, K7K. I've never stumbled on one like that before. Are they from the 50's or 60's?

Here are the finds of the day at the local flea market. A SOG power-lock of some type that is a little worse for the wear but still serviceable. I am not sure why I took the Buck 110 (it is more like a Buck 55) the guy threw it in with the Kline folder... ::skeptic:: so I took it ::uc:: .... ::suspense:: maybe it has some life left in it still...

You're right, the warranty doesn't cover abuse but it's only $10 for a new blade.

Hey Chris. Yep, that's Autumn Shadowbone. They had a series of them that seem to be pretty collectable.
I have a few. They also had a Canoe, a Peanut, and a couple others I can't remember from that series..
They were from 2003. Your Coke bottle is a good one to have. Here's a pic of mine.

My wife and I had a long weekend in central Florida and stopped by some antique shops and flea markets and found a variety of knives. I rarely buy razors but I liked the design on this one.The Holley had my heart pumping until I turned it over and saw the repair.
1.Griffon Cutlery razor
2.Holley 4 3/4" lockback(repair back handle)
3.modern Remington
4.New York knife Tool kit handle
5.Roberts,Johnson& Rand (Polliparrot Shoes)
6.Loomis (Schrade OT but not marked)
7.IKCO mini fish w/ goldstone celluloid
8.Camillus peanut
9.New York Knife Co aluminum pen
10.Chambers Germany pearl pen

The Holley is still pretty cool, even with the repair.

I picked this one up at a Surplus Store today. It was cheap, like $14.00, but I figured what the hay. Mainly because of the tang stamp and it's another utility knife. It had a preservative grease over it, I don't think it was thick enough to be cosmoline, but was a heavy grease. It's a Italian made Utility or Rope knife with bail. Has black composite handles. It's 3-5/8 inch closed. It has a 2-5/8" Rope Knife and a Canopener. The main blade has a tang stamp of BIANCHI (I have no idea if the same company that also produces holsters) with CAMPOBASSO below the Bianchi. In Italian Campo translates to field, and Basso translates to "Low" So maybe something similar to Lite field knife ::shrug:: I cleaned it up, and had to sharpen the canopener, and main blade. But I figure it will be a good backup campgear knife.

::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: That looks like a very handy work/camp knife. Those sheepsfoot blades are really sturdy work blades that is what they were designed for, and for 14 bucks, you can't go wrong. ::tu::

The Army Surplus Store was selling them as Italian Navy Knives, but I see nothing on them to indicate that other than a heavy sheepfoot or rope blade. But it is sturdy, and it was rather tight. After cleaning it I soaked it in warm mineral oil and worked the blades several times before you could open it smoothly. But both blades have tremendous snap. The back of the sheepfoot blade is squared and throws sparks good from a ferro rod.

Good $14 pick-up, I'd say. I've not seen another like it. Did the surplus store have any more? I now want to take the quick trip over to Harry's Army Surplus in the hopes I can find a good score.
