Calf Roper and a Mustang

The Calf Roper is one of my favorites & there's nothing wrong with the Mustang. What are those handles that look so good on it?.

Thank you Geo. The Calf Roper is one of my favorite Stockman patterns. GEC really got it right with the Calf Roper. The covers on the Mustang are Desert Ironwood. When in good sunlight they really are beautiful and both sides are well matched.

A great choice for scales on the Mustang! I love Desert Ironwood, I live near (relatively speaking) where a lot of Desert Ironwood carvings (some by the Seri Indians in Mexico) are made and I have over 60 pieces, some over 20 lbs. Sometimes the wood has a sort of three dimensional (a depth of deferent shades) look on the flat surface in the sunlight. A little hard to describe, but beautiful to see

Thanks Woodwalker, it is a good solid little scout knife and comes in handy whenever I "EDC" it. I have a couple of old PAL fixed blades that are among my favorites as well.
