Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
I finally remembered I wanted to make some contributions to this thread. None of my knives are in amazing sheaths (yet), but I've made some lanyards I'm pretty happy with. Both of them can be cinched up for extra security.

Cool Dan!
I've never made any like that before. That's a real good idea!

They are pretty cool, eh? The one on the Garberg is very easy to make, too; getting the loop to the right size is the most difficult part. Here's the tutorial video:

Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
Well, since my knee is keeping me at home for a few days, I thought I would try making a couple of paracord lanyards for a couple of my SAKs. You guys have done some great jobs. My first time so it's a learning experience. I only had a couple colors of paracord, but thought it would be good to learn on. I will definitely have to do it several times to get the hang of it. The one on the black Forester is a Cobra knot pattern in cammo. It turned out O.K. The one on the Red EvoGrip is called an endless falls pattern and on other sites called just a stacked keychain lanyard. I'm gonna have to practice it more. I somehow missed a loop.

Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
They look pretty dang good. I made some lanyards out of Type III/550 paracord, intending to use them on Swiss Army knives...only to find that it would have been a pain to hitch them onto the supplied split ring. If you managed to get 550, with its internal strands intact, hitched onto that little bitty split ring, you're one up on me!

Got in a new Victorinox Black Alox Pioneer. So thought it would look good with a blue laynard. This one turned out pretty good, I think.

My daughter sewed me up some of the knife slips I had already cut out months ago. Then I did a little cutting, trimming & added some velcro. And here they are, my 10 newest knife slips.
