Picked up this little Ulster while bottom feeding in the bay. It was mainly because I liked the blade etch. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Dlegg! That little Ulster is a good one. I kinda' love rough black handles, and it's amazing to still have that etch on there..

Bulldog Brand seems to produce some really nice stag handles...that one is no exception.
A couple of my recent Stag pick-ups: 1994 Hen & Rooster 212DS, and 1991 Keen Kutter (Bear MGC)...both are 3½" Mini Trappers but the stag is very different on each one.
The stag on the KK/Bear MGC is also super fat. Although fat stag is not my usual preference, this one will fit nicely in one of my knife cases that has stretched-out elastic bands, so it's a win-win.

Heck Cudgee, I just noticed the knife! I thought it was just a picture of the sticker! LOL! Is that a jack or a single blade? A little oil will make that puppy look great!

A single blade spear boys knife. The photo is not a good one, the wood is finished and polished with renwax, looks really good.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 1:53 amHeck Cudgee, I just noticed the knife! After a little hesitation, I picked up this Battle-Axe whittler. I couldn't resist the tang stamp and the cigar band. The cake decoration knives in the background were amusing.
