Good-looking spread there, Tom. Mind if I ask about the one on the bottom in the two middle shots?
Don't mind at all geo 💸 . :D

Just wish I had a better answer for ya. It's one of the best used knives I have ever bought. An eBay find. Great snap, great F&F, long pull, swedge and one of those knives that just feels like it was custom fitted to your hand. Stamped only with the words Stainless Steel. ::shrug:: A no name..., but I really like it! ::nod::
Thanks, my friend. I think it stands out.
Thanks Buddy! I appreciate it very much! ::handshake:: ::nod:: Of course it just moved waaaay up on my favorites list after that comment. ::nod::

Mighty nice old Case bones! I'm waiting for a special enough occasion to carry my '78 Trapper.

Thank you Garry. I have 2 of them and I've been thinking of giving one as a monthly give away knife. Do you think it would meet the level of quality for that?

I appreciate the question David but I may not be the right person to ask as I am lacking objectivity. But to answer, I think it has plenty of quality, a fine heritage and would make an excellent prize.

Thank you, Tom. I know how you feel about a compliment on a knife. Or when someone else is carrying one identical to one you have, yours immediately increases in value. Good feeling.

That is a beautiful, quality knife David. I'd almost hate to see you part with it via the giveaway, but I can assure you I will definitely be entering the contest that month! It will make a teriffic new addition to any collection! 8)

Schrade USA 6OT Golden Bear. My largest Old Timer, and Schrade in general.

Another forum I'm on is doing a "Not a Buck 110 Challenge". We're supposed to carry the not-made-by-Buck large lockback or Folding Hunter of our choice for 30 days. Aside from days when I DON'T want to have a sheath on my belt (when I'll be carrying a Mercator--as my slim, clip-equipped 6OTX is currently put away), I'll be using the entire month of May to establish some thoughts about the 6OT and LB-7 variants in general. I have a close-to-new one but decided to use the user-condition 6OT I got from knifegnome during the 2021 POS Exchange. The other one I have was like new, just stored poorly and left in its sheath from 2002-2019 by the original owner. This one was used and carried by the original owner, but not much.

KIMG4135.JPG

I'm using a Greenwood Saddlery sheath, bought used for a song. This is a custom-made, saddle shop sheath made for what I presume is either a really big multitool (my Leatherman Surge is too small!) or a specialty tool. Heavy leather, heavy stitching, and riveted AND stitched belt loop on the back. Lengthwise, it fits the 6OT like a glove, but width-wise it's too big. I used that extra space to house my Maglite Solitaire.

I'll do that soon: pull it out, cut some paper and paracord, maybe polish it up a bit!

Again, y'all are showing some great carriers.

I'm tolerating weak springs in order to carry this nice little gunstock from L L H, Cleavland. 3 inches closed.

It has a nice description in Goin's about the owners originating in Sheffield.
Apparently it is a hardware brand starting in 1898.
Lockwood-Luetkemeyer-Henry Company.

I have no idea who made it.

Weak springs maybe. Fabulous bones for sure. Wow is all I can say FRJ. Great photo too, looks like it's floating in air.
