Favorite GEC Dixie and a Battle Horse Knives Bronco 2.
Two solid lookin' knives Trace. ::tu:: Not hard to understand why that GEC is a favorite of yours, I'm really diggin' the wharnie blade and beautiful covers. 8)
Thank you. I rotate my edc a lot but a Dixie (usually my stag) is most often the go to.

I have no experience with Battle Horse but I complement you on the Dixie Stockman.
I have recently discovered that my steel of choice is o1. That's when I discovered BHK, they have a solid reputation and decent variety of fixed patterns. Although I did pick up an LTWK GNS in o1 instead of the BHK Battlelore (nearly identical).

GEC 82 Dixie is just a fantastic pattern all the way around.

And just to kindly correct you buddy, this blade shape is called a "sheepsfoot". A warnie is allot more gently sloped curve, to a razor sharp point.
But this blade is more useful IMHO. It's like a boxer vs dancer, bulldozer vs Ferrari, wrencher vs programmer, each do there own thing.

Thank you Madmarco. It might be the only Wharncliff I have. That's a shame since I like it so much. Might have to do something about that.
