Beautiful knife Jerry, ::tu:: and unless it was specifically stated on your check "DO NOT SPEND ON FRIVOLITIES", I think you're O.K.! LOL! Very nice addition to your jack family, congratulations, I can certainly see why you're having trouble putting that group aside. 8)

Jerry, as Republican's are represented by an elephant and Democrats by a jack a.. , it's only right to take the democrats stimulus and buy a Jack. I hope you spent the republican stimulus on ivory. ::nod::

I received these in the mail today from Roland, aka: Kootenay Joe. Very pleased with them. A few more additions to my Schrade family. Two qualify as being included in the Pony Jack Family. That being the Schrade 12OT Pal, and The Schrade 72OT Dogleg Jack. The next three use basically the same frame of the small serpentine jack. A Schrade 219, a Schrade 18OT single blade liner lock Mighty Mite, and a Schrade 707UH Gambler with the Green Delrin handles, GREENWING shield and Ducks Unlimited blade etch. All have great walk and talk, tight blades with no wobble.

What a perfect argument!

Jerry and Smitty, those are some fantastic groups. Here is my duo: an olive green Case Trapper and a Spyderco Manbug with a Wharncliffe blade.

Thanks for the additional info Dan. I've never been able to get past the thumb-hole on Spyderco blades, so I haven't watched them too closely. I fully realize the holes are for 1-hand opening, I just prefer a stud instead. They do make some models that I could certainly overlook the hole on, just never been a favorite of mine overall. 8)

To me, the hole is very unattractive BUT it makes the blade very easy to open. Much better than any thumb stud I've ever ran across. JMHO

Spyderco knives are so popular I knew there had to be a hook, which would be the ease with which they open via the hole, but those holes are just butt-ugly to look at, IMHO. And I certainly respect and agree with YHO Jerry! 8)

The Buck 722 Spitfire has a hole in the blade that IMHO is just as easy to use as the Spydie hole and not nearly as unattractive.

Fedex dropped this off much earlier than I expected them to. I've had it for about an hour and it's only 9:45am here.

Very, very pleased with this knife. I already had the Boy Scout on the bottom. The Junior Scout is the newcomer. Maybe I'll get the full size Scout one of these days too.

Rosewood and Satin finish.
