Here’s a picture of my EDC. It’s a 1993 Case Peanut. I’m the only person who has ever carried this knife. I use it everyday. Notice, it is naturally “Pocket Worn”. Please also notice that because of resharpening there’s not a lot of blade life left. For at least 60 years, there has been a knife in my pocket. Because Jean Case was my great grandfather, most of my carry’s were Case related. I’m due for a new knife. One day soon I’ll go to Bradford and buy a new one to replace this one. I currently have over a hundred Case pockets. I’ll buy a new one because it will cost me less than any of mine are worth.

That part of the reason I have a carry rotation. My logic may not be sound, but I figure if I have a rotation, it'll prevent a huge amount of wear and tear on a single knife.

As usual, a great bunch being shown. John, I'm guessing that Peanut is a pattern 9220...am I correct?

Charlie, how do you have so many wonderful knives and still have a thick wallet? ::shrug::
Thank you Doglegg. The older I get, the more I appreciate the simple stuff. ::tu::

Man KSlinger I'm loving that Schrade barlow, those squared off slabs for scales are incredible. What a piece. Same with the Shapleigh. Wow.

The CopperLock earned its keep today! Don't worry; the blade didn't go through the entire stack.

I have more Case knives than any other brand but I do have quite a few "others". They need love too so I try to give them pocket time every now and then. This Uncle Henry is a new addition to my collection. My son picked it up at a yard sale for $1.50. I had to do some serious cleaning and sharpen it but that was $1.50 well spent. I haven't paid him back yet either.....let him know how it feels when the table is turned! ::rotflol::

It's good looking all cleaned up. Tell your son the $1.50 goes toward working off the debt created raising him. ::super_happy:: ::rotflol:: ::clapping:: ::tease::  ::tu::

Charlie, the Voyager series of knives comes from Cold Steel. A highly popular knife, I often favor a recurve edge but it comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. For example,

That's a great $1.50 yard sale find. Looks like it has a DAP logo on the one bolster?

With a Wharncliffe blade...awesome! I'll be cruising over to eBay in search of one.

Thanks Ivoryman! I like finding old knives in need of some TLC as much as getting new ones.

I've developed a liking for Cold Steel products. Their Trail Master Bowie has been on my wanted list for a while now. Problem is the wanted list is soooo long!

Custom knife maker Bill Bagwell, who literally wrote the book on Bowies, said the CS Trail Master is the best production Bowie available.
