I worked with quite a few Marines, and on quite a few Marine Corps aircraft. Will have to be careful when handling my Mini Blackhorn!

Hey Tom, very nice Boker . Having a locking blade on a EDC I believe is a great idea . The knife has a nice clean user friendly look to it.
Enjoy your new purchase and your day over there my friend. ::handshake::

I believe these are made in China. They would cost much more if they were made in Germany. It has No made in Germany or Solingen stamp either. Still a nice little EDC though. ::tu::

Nice lines on your Lockback Tom. I can't tell if the covers are wood or something else, like micarta.

Beautiful Boker Tom! ::tu:: I find it amazing how some of these inexpensive folders are as solid and well-built as they are. This is a Columbia piece that is similar to yours, albeit a slip-joint and different shaped body and blade, US$10., and solid as the day is long. 8)

This 4 1/2" DropPoint Hunter was made by Mr. Itou. It comes from his most recent offerings of 2020 and 2021. It is likely that this will be among his final efforts as he is now 80 and has health problems. For grinding he uses a very large and slow moving water wheel. A picture of him at the wheel is available at his listing on Kencrest Knives. This particular knife is made of R2 Damascus with a premium Desert Ironwood handle. The Rockwell hardnes is 62.

Hmmmmm, figured that German flag on the background meant it was made in Germany. Guess not. Thanks. Good looker.

Got these three to add to my collection today. First is a GEC 38 in bloodwood. I have missed out on every drop on these and bought one off of Ebay.
Second is a Robeson Mastercraft split backspring whittler, in gorgeous blue jigged bone.
Third is a Case Select toothpick. I believe the handles are Chinese Quince burl wood or Amboynia, but I’m pretty sure it’s Quince. I watch Case Select knives every day on Ebay and have been trying to add more of these to my collection. I like that the pins, liners and bolsters are all nickel silver with no brass.
