Thanks guys, we're lucky to have such great places to visit not far from home. Sure enjoy everyone's pictures, even places that don't have impressive features can be pretty cool when you find the right angle or detail and I love that the knives are actually being carried and used. I do wish this forum had a "like" button so I could acknowledge without responding, guess that shows I've been infected by modern laziness a bit.

Dang Scott. Is that a Cami 99 Camillus no line? With Red bone handles no less. Good looking knife. Who did the handles, although I have a pretty good idea.

I went on a "nature walk" today. Never mind that it was within Ann Arbor, MI; I could have taken convincing enough photos. I didn't think to take any for inclusion in this great group, but next time I'll remember.

Re: Knives in the Wild
Scott, the name Camillus is not underlined on your knife. It is the model most commonly found with the"no line" tang stamp. It isn't even mentioned in most tang stamp charts. Yours made between 1946-1955. Sweet knifeTripleF wrote: ↑Thu Apr 08, 2021 9:54 amThe tang stamp has 3 lines.Papa Bones wrote: ↑Wed Apr 07, 2021 3:50 pmDang Scott. Is that a Cami 99 Camillus no line?
