Re: It's In The Mail
My first camillus 72. Surfing Ebay and this seller had a brand new knife for buy it now for the strange price of $33.57. It was the only knife she had in her items for sale. Claimed it was still in cellophane but the wrapper fell apart when she opened it. Got it for around $40.00 total. It looks new with factory oil on pivots. Will see when it gets here.

Great pick up CluelessNick. She was probably telling the truth about that cellophane. That stuff gets fragile with age. And a good price as well for a new one. Congratulations.

A couple of us got one like that in crumbly wrapper, they are like mint condition. Did clean mine up good as the oil and factory grease gets gummy after sitting all those years .
Excellent find , welcome to 72 country

Nice! I've been buying more and more lockbacks around 2.5" to 3" closed (some a little smaller, like your Boker). They get most of what one needs, without weighing me down.

And to prove my point, here is the latest acquisition - a French M1804 Naval Cutlass made by Klingenthal for export to the Mexican government. This particular weapon was taken as a prize of war from the Mexican Navy ship AMADO during the U.S./Mexican War in 1846. It was then carried as the personal side arm of a Mississippi River Pilot aboard the CSS Arkansas in 1862.
