Olcut Hatchet Knife

Post by Another Knife Collector »

Does anybody know what handle materials these hatchet knives were produced in(or any other info for that matter ::shrug:: )? I've always wanted one and finally found this decent example with fairly full blades :D . I suppose one of these days the celluloid will go and I'd like to know my correct replacement options. (I think ebony handles would look real nice)

Their are tons of examples of 90 year old composites that are still in excellent condition. If one is 30 years old and has not given problems, I would not assume that it would ever be an issue.
