doglegg my friend, if that comment is offensive, then I hope like hades you keep on offending. And it's a lie to say you just comment and don't post knife pics. I've seen them. I love seeing them. I'll defend your comments too. Some look for offense when there is no offense to find, so they just make up some fictional bogus criticism. Don't think they understand English or your words if they take issue with what you wrote. Others of us think your comments are great and hope you keep them coming. You're one of the most complimentary, generously kind worded guys around here and I for one hope you know most of us out here get what you're saying and appreciate it.

Nice! I've been thinking about finding a serious knife to put on the silver neck chain I've had since I was a kid. Something that can actually be used to cut something. Used to be, it was a tiny Rough Rider that was not even intended to be sharp. I'm thinking the Spyderco Honeybee or similar.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Totally get that mate , some pocket knives just feel nice in your hand , it's the same when I'm doing handles on fixed blade knives as they have to feel right in the handMadmarco wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 5:03 pmVery nice Paul! What you described is exactly what I had in mind when I started the "Comfort Knives" thread. I've found that certain knives just give me a feeling of security and not in the sense of feeling protected but more of one of feeling complete, contentment, and overall well-being, whereas others don't produce any feelings at all and are simply tools. Enjoy your upcoming day shift!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I bought my first Western, a punch-blade Stockman, recently (I also have a Camillus-made R2, but it was factory unsharpened/apparently unfinished, and I haven't put an edge on it yet), but I decided to put it away due to being pretty old, and having bone handles. May need to get it out sometime.garddogg56 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:13 pm Had a Western Whittler 6504 and a Kershaw in pocket on my river walk![]()
Never seen a Kershaw with that emblem on the handle before.

Thank you! I was most pleased with this old Imperial. Holds an edge well, and is nice to use. We’re supposed to have some storms earlier today, and thought I’d carry it instead of my usual suspects. Have a good one!
