Western States junior cattle: 3 5/16 inches closed equal end cattle knife. Clip blade with long pull and spey blade with crescent pull arise from one end of the knife and a punch blade with match strike arises from the opposite end of the knife. All blades are stamped WESTERN STATES (in an arch), over BOULDER, COLO. There are no half stops. All blades have reasonable snap both opening and closing, are centered in their wells, and have zero lateral play. The clip blade is possibly slightly short. There is slight evidence of sharpening but no blade loss of consequence on other two blades. The knife has had some minor oxidation on steel surfaces and has been cleaned. Rounded threaded bolsters, pins and blank pinned ‘bomb’ shield are of nickel silver. Liners are brass. Covers are of mottled green celluloid which is tight to all contact points, with no sign of warpage, shrinkage or degradation of any kind. I did not find an exact match from copied catalog pages; the knife is clearly of pre-WWII manufacture. A very nice example. A really pretty little knife in nice shape. $60 shipped.

Beautiful Western States Cal! They don't get a lot better than that!
It is tempting but I am waiting on a local estate auction to conclude, I may have gotten carried away with bidding.
