Re: The elusive Camillus # 80 pattern
Yesterday, this became the latest addition to my CAMILLUS collection. It's a CAMILLUS 80 (only my 2nd "80"), 3 blade, swelled center, milled liners, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It has a small crack in the handle, at the top pin. This does not cause me concern. It received some minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Here's my other "80."

Re: The elusive Camillus # 80 pattern
Thank you JP.
The word "elusive" in the title is a VERY good
way to describe the availability of this particular pattern.
Good Luck!

Very nice Skip. Elusive is almost an understatement. They are tuffies to find. Thank you Smitty.
If they were easy to find,
it wouldn't be any fun.

Re: The elusive Camillus # 80 pattern
Well Folks here’s a 80 that came in today as a gift from a fellow member. Did post it in Mail call, but if you haven’t seen it here it is. The giver wishes not to be mentioned, so on to the knife. This one is going to go in with the new display am currently working on. It’s milled liners just go perfect with this model, blades are tight ,has some wear, but it’s become my favorite.
As Knife folks we know it’s the hunt, maybe even a little old school wheeling and dealing going on, that make up part of our deal here. But when gifted a knife, it far exceeds all that in ways.
Have a great weekend out there

Re: The elusive Camillus # 80 pattern
JP, that's a good one to cross off the list.
Also, that's only the 2nd "80" pattern, posted in this
thread/topic, that has a federal style shield.
Here's the link to the other "80" with the federal style shield:
