Nice assortment to choose from. And that Queen Gunstock. I can’t look at it or I’ll think I just have to have one.garddogg56 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 8:21 pm Tom them new blades will cause ya to bleed, mean it will be a good oneI went with the Queen today

New to AAPK and first time knife collecting.
I began my knife journey two months ago reading about AG Russell, so I acquired this used large model AG Russell One Hand knife with AUS-8 steel for $70. Just says A.G. RUSSELL on obverse face of the blade. Open blade is 2.5 inches; closed is 4 inches.
This is first version made between 1987 and 2008. Parts made in Seki, Japan. Other subsequent versions made in U.S.A., Italy, and Japan. There was the large and small models.

Totin' something different today, a Kizer Guru in S35VN. Pretty much a Sebenza knockoff but 1/5th of the pricetag so it's a nice EDC. Not a flipper, detent with a thumb stud.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Papa Bones, you are getting Searsrius about your carries. Sweet knives. Those old Sears knives were bought to be used. Glad you are continuing the tradition.Papa Bones wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 1:27 pm Thought I would carry these two today. A Craftsman 9524 pen, and a Craftsman 9494 Swell center

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Appreciate it Floyd. With me, it's just something about the older Craftsman knives. I guess all them years going to Sears with my Grandad and always looking at the knives they had on display.doglegg wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 2:30 pmPapa Bones, you are getting Searsrius about your carries. Very uniquely cool, visually impressive, and talent with intrigue to see a guy pull out a beautiful folder like that with his own name on the tang. Wow. Hats off to style like that. That's the kind. A class by yourself. Kudos.
