I had a sale put on hold by PayPal recently and the hold was resolved after 2 days. Not really sure but the buyer was a new person to PayPal. I contacted the buyer and he seemed ok with it. Anyway, it worked out fine in a couple of days. You might put in a call to PayPal, not that I would expect them to resolve the problem early.

I got a notice from paypal. that that they are going to do receive goods pay later option .they say to compete with other payment company's. .

This means:

I'm thinking that you have been switched to eBay's 'Managed Payments' format. Some things I kinda like but most, I do not. I was given no choice. I am an old fart and old farts do not embrace change readily.
I like the buyer having more options about payments. They can still pay by PP but also by credit cards. I like the payment going straight to my bank. I had to set up an account solely for the eBay payment transfers but it has worked out ok.
The rest of the program is not to my liking but, as I say, it was not optional. I was comfortable with the old MY eBay page format and I saw no reason to change it.

KC, don’t send the item until you get the payment resolved. You asked about a notice received on your store here on AAPK not EBay. This is probably an issue the buyer has with PayPal. If it doesn’t get resolved, you could lose the knife and not get paid. Your other option is to accept a money order.
PayPal will hold up a new account until they get all the payment flow figured out for sure. Or if there is an issue of a continuing problem this buyer is having, maybe they are burning sellers and PayPal is getting hooked for transactions, it could be any number of issues. You as the seller should NOT feel obligated to work out the issue for the buyer with PayPal. Make suggestions, etc, but don’t send the knife until you get paid.
I have had this happen on one purchase from a buyer and it got resolved in a couple of days. Don’t know what the issue was. But I don’t send any knife until payment has cleared. Hope this helps.
