Vintage TORREY

Post by Luckypaul777 »

I won this vintage TORREY on ebay. Looks like a nice older knife; pearl handles engraved bolsters; nickle/silver pins and liners. All 3 blades stamped TORREY in a rectangle. I am guessing it was made in the 1950's; could it be earlier or later? Thanks.

That is a real beauty Paul. ::tu:: ::tu::

I don't know how galvanic let that one slip by him, I think that's one of his brands.

Torry was c.1880-1963, and by the shape of the tangs and kicks, I'd guess your's was from the first 25 or 30 years of that range.

Great snag !!

If it's meant for me to have it, it'll still be there.

Yes Fran I was watching it but did not bid. I have an old catalog from Torry but did not see this one in it but that does not mean much. All of their knives that I have seen have been really well made. Attached is the only one I own, which I still am trying to get the drool marks off of Fran!!!!
