Buck is releasing some of their 100 series knives with upgraded handle (green canvas Micarta) and blade (s35vn) Anyone excited about them?

I bought the 105 "prototype" and have the 102 on order. A person can't have too many 102s. I like the texture of this micarta.

105 for me. I picked up an older 440C version from the early '70s off the store cheap here, and I love it. 420HC is good, but really doesn't do it for me.

I have just one Buck I actually use in S35VN and I am absolutely impressed with that steel! Its a 112 Pro Plus and it was the sharpest knife of any kind I have ever owned. Scary sharp! Even after months of light use it is still very sharp. For many years I looked down at 'Steel Snobs' who paid sometimes double or more for a Buck in upgraded steels..Yep plain old 420 was good enough but I'm a believer now! If you actually use one of the new Pro fixed blades in S35VN you will be impressed too..
