Cheers mate I really like the Green apple ::tu::

Today's carry a red bone Case 6344 ::tu::
IMG_20210305_085357_728.jpg
You appear to be well equipped for the day Paul! ::tu:: Would you kindly show some more pics and description of the metal knife with the holes in the handle that's sitting on the bottom-left corner of the magazine? Thanks! Mark! 8)
Cheers mate , the thing in the bottom left is a old now discontinued leatherman style , I need to send it in as the scissors spring mechanism broke ages ago , not sure what leatherman will send back as in the uk they just replace the tool and these are not made anymore , possibly there send a micra ? I sometimes carry a gerber dime or a leatherman juice S2 ::tu::
Thanks Paul! ::handshake:: I was intrigued by the look of it! 8)

Here is one i would not have expected to use or carry. I've owned it for at least a decade, a "Frost/Cutlery/Surgical/Steel", 3 3/8" small Copperhead. Blades open smoothly, 100% solid when open, strong snaps, sharp edges and comfortable in hand. A very handy knife that cuts well, not much force needed.
Oddly enough there is no country marking. I think this is a Frost import from Japan, likely ~ 1980's (maybe a bit earlier ?).
It does not 'feel like' a China made knife. Could be Pakistan ??
Anyone recognize what 'era' of Frost this knife is from ?
thanks, kj

By the looks of her Roland, I would be safe to say Japan.

Build quality/grinds look to be too nice for ole Pakistan, and the design itself is indicative of Japanese styling.
JMTB

The way the bone is fitted, perfectly mounted by look's from here, and the way everything is finished, is "Japanese" quality.

From my experience, Pak. of this vintage, didn't put out nice knives...

China is out, they didn't have anything close to what we call a "knife industry" back then.

Tawian is out, there was no jobber industry yet.

So, are best bet is Japan.

Hope that helps kj.

Thank you Willy for your agreement that my knife is most likely Frost, Japan.
