I forgot to add that ~Q~ is also looking out for my health. He sent me some masks.

Just to be clear...as I went to package up the knife, I was scrounging around in the garage for some packing materials when I came across this huge box of face masks that my wife had apparently stashed away. I know that jerryd hates those styrofoam peanuts, so I thought a few of these masks would work just as well as packing padding (and who knows?...maybe even stop 'the rona' from hitching a ride!).


BTW: USPS doesn't have a Priority Flat Rate Box big enough to ship a Chevy (or GMC) 4x4 Crew Cab...if they did, you know I'd send you one, buddy.

BTW, something I've been curious about for awhile. Do you know if the USPS flies mail from Honolulu to the Big Island or do they move it between islands by boat? It doesn't keep me up at night but It does occasionally wander across my frontal lobe.

Awhile back, jerryd warned me that he was sending a bomb my way. I tried lobbing a pre-emptive strike at him, but apparently that only served to slow down the Rockford USPS from delivering the jerryd bomb. Although it took it's own sweet time in transit (just over 2 weeks), it finally arrived and made quite a splash; Mini-T Monkey is over the moon with glee at receiving this gorgeous Boker smooth orange bone mini trapper. I know what y'all are thinking and I can't believe jerryd let go of an orange handled knife either (maybe he's gone color blind ), but now that it's in The Monkey's clutches, it looks like it's here to stay.

Can't thank you enough, jerryd, for this beautiful Boker bomb.

I am indeed, Floyd, although I'm not even remotely worthy.

Ironically, DeJoy made the wait excruciatingly painful (i.e., no "joy"), but the delay ended up making its arrival that much more gratifying (delayed gratification).

Meant to answer this...but...well...life got in the way...you know how it is.

To quell your curiosity and answer your query: USPS uses both means to transport mail between Honolulu (Oahu) and the Big Island. Priority and First Class go by air and Parcel Post (aka Parcel Select) goes on the inter-island barge--which can add up to as much as an extra ten days to the delivery time.
