Here's some NYK Co. paper I picked up recently. One is from 1889 and has Thomas W. Bradley as president. There's some handwriting on the back that includes the Aug. 29 date. The invoice is from 1882 and it also has the amount, date issued and date paid handwritten on the back. (Wow, cursive writing so beautiful and yet my kids can't read it.)

Last is a 1912 letter from NYK Co. to Biddle Hardware that was signed by C.B. Fuller, who was treasurer at same time that his brother, J.E. Fuller, was president.

I also just got a NYK Co. catalog as well, which I'll post some scans of over the weekend.

Mike those are some stunning NYK examples. That center one is amazing, never seen that particular letterhead/billhead before. ::tu:: ::tu::

Really looking forward to those catalog scans. Is it an actual NYK catalog? I've only ever seen their knives on hardware company pages.

Thanks Skip, Dan and Eric. I don't usually buy catalogs that don't have full-sized cuts, but this one seemed to have a lot of knives in it. There are 24 pages with knives on both sides of each page. Here's the catalog. I was a bit disappointed that the seller dated the catalog somewhere between in 1911 and 1934, but this letter explains the time frame. I was unable to find anything on the internet about Jas A. Irwin, so I was glad to get the letter. It seems as though Mr. Brumley led a full and interesting life. https://fortunekeoughfuneralhome.com/bo ... ituary.php

This morning, these two NEW YORK KNIFE COMPANY pocket knife boxes
became the latest pieces of cutlery ephemera to join my collection.
They are both in fairly good, overall condition.

Per the seller, this item is from 1977 and it is the latest piece of pocket knife ephemera to join my collection. It's a hockey cards, wax pack wrapper, pocket knife offer. The offer doesn't mention the pocket knife manufacturer.
