CASE TESTED XX HAWKBILL w/question

Here is another one of my Case Tested XX knives. I think its a beautiful old knife! I have had this knife for a really long time one of my first Case Tested knives. The blade is pretty full and the handles are just plain AWESOME (I think) My question is this knife has no snap.....Is there a way to get the snap back?? Any answers are better than none Honestly though if you know a way to fix it would you let me know? Thanks

Send it to Muskrat Man, he can probably fix it. Here's one that I sold for recently on fleabay. Went for an incredible amount, far above book value.

Jim, that was 2 BEAUTIFUL knives that you parted with. Money is nice also but finding knives like those is a rare thing. Leo you are right about those handles.

Forensic Jim gezzzzzzzz both of those knives where Awesome and both sold great. I will talk to MM about my knife and see if he can fix the snap for me. Yea Luckypaul777 thats what made me buy the knife Thanks

Just my opinion here, but I'd leave the old knife in her original condition.

IF snap can be put back in the knife and retain it's integrity I would'nt hesitate to fix it, It's a nice knife and deserves better, could be something as minor as a bent pin from someone cutting too hard with it, or it could use a shot of oil. Then again I don't see eye to eye with a lot of folks.

I could make a diagnosis just by holding the knife. Then proper "laproscopic surgery" or proper medication for whatever the diagnosis may be. better quit, starting to sound like a doctor. . Take two shots of 3 in 1's household oil and call me in the morning

pretty good, get the stitches out monday
