Glenn, you got quite a few of those knives that are perfect just as they are.
And you have quite a few more that I hope to see redone by your skilled hands. You do not disappoint us!
Jesus is life.
Everything else is just a hobby.

Not sure which one you mean...
Glenn, looking again, maybe it isn't a swell center. Next to the last row the first one on the left. Thanks. ::shrug:: ::handshake::

Picked up this Swedish Lappandaren Harlett Hantverk knife. I don't know anything about it except I really like it. The gun is a 9 shot High Standard.____Dave

Congratulations, Dave!
Looks you you had a successful trip. ::tu:: Had to look up your revolver and in the process found out High Standard went out of business in 2018.
I've got a High Standard model GB around here someplace, only have the 4' bbl.

Nice! I recently picked up a Stockman from Western, and is it one fine knife. It is among the highest quality I have seen in a knife.

Here are my finds over the weekend at the local flea-market. A Swiss Army Knife, a Vaughan roofing hatchet and a Collins Hudson Bay axe.

::tu:: ::tu:: Very Nice. Vaughan been around for many years. Used one of their Roofing Hatchets (or I think technically they called it a riggers or rig builders hatchet) for a couple of summers in my younger days. I believe they are still producing them here in the U.S.

My Lucky Day !! Picked up these two in a pawn shop in Salisbury, MD this afternoon. A 3-5/16" celluloid "picture" knife, probably from the twenties, great blades and snap. Mark is unreadable but it has to be CANTON, NOVELTY, AERIAL, LACKAWANNA, WABASH, or GOLDEN RULE, for five bucks!
Now, here's the lucky part. A 3-9/16" CHALLENGE, Harness knife in good shape. It was very dirty, blades rusted shut.
Guy said, "You can have that rusty one for nothing"! Took me ten minutes to clean it up a little. ::ds:: ::ds:: J.O'.

Great find, and the right price. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: Just shows the old theory "One persons junk is another persons treasure." To a non-knife person that is a piece of junk, to you it is a treasure and piece of history. ::nod:: ::handshake::
