The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Got this one this week...forgot what the bone was called...burnt bone? First one in this pattern for me.
How do you like the 6240 pattern, Mike?
I have these two (bottom knife with Wharncliffe secondary is a 1990 1st Issue)...they're bigger than I expected...kind of like a "Monster Peanut"!
Those are awesome QT....I really like it...its bigger than what I'm usually looking for but was really attracted to the handles and the pattern. Out of all the knives I have accumulated, none have scales this light in color. The scorched look I think is pretty cool and caught my eye....it turned out even better looking once in hand. To me it's kinda fancy looking. I've been trying to limit myself to buying nice use knives or never carried knives that I put into my carry rotation but I doubt I will carry this much or at all. Maybe it will be my "dress up " knife and I'll carry when I go to a wedding or funeral along with my slick black 31.
I looked at that 6488 and thought, "all my favorite blades. I like the looks of that and wouldn't mind having one" so off I went to eBay to see if any were available. Yep, they're available alright. Holy macaroni!!! Are those suckers ever expensive!!! 24 listings and almost all of them over $300 & $400. Take a look but make sure you have clean Depends on when you do. ---► https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... 8&_sacat=0

This is my latest Case addition. Not anywhere close to the beauty of John's knife but it's still a nice little EDC. Carrying it in my LFP right now.
I had trouble getting a good picture of the stamp but I think it reads 1992.

Winner there, Smitty! Copperheads are a fantastic pattern!
Thanks. And I agree, I am really happy they re-released the patter for a bit.
