Floating Dots in 1985?
I was unaware that Case used the floating dots on tang stamps back in the 1980s. I've seen and owned many of the Copperlocks with the floating dots. E-bay item #150313096993 shows a 1985 Case knife that has the floating dots tang stamp. I've never seen that blade design on a 165 pattern before. It looks like the larger 72 pattern Bulldog clasp knife blade on a 65 pattern folding hunter frame. Anyone have any info on this knife? SFO knife?

I can't tell you anything about that knife except I, personally haven't seen one like it before.
It's an interesting knife. The blade shape is similar to a Case clasp blade but a bit more clip shaped than a bulldog or buffalo's blade. Definately not the usual folding hunter blade. You can click on the sellers other items for an easy comparison view to the bulldog blade.
