I came across this local online auction estate sale in my area that had this lot of approx. 110 knives up for bid. Well, I joined and put my bids in...and I won. I pick them up Monday, 15 Feb. I'm really hoping there will be some "diamonds in the rough" From what I see from the photos, I counted at least 9 Victorinox's, 5 Barlows, several electricians knives, some lobster knives, a Hawkbill or two, pipe knives and a whole lot more. There was no description provided for what was in this lot, so really not sure what I'll be ending up with. Nevertheless, it will be exciting to sit down and go through these, list them on paper and go from there. There appears to be some "junk" items in the group, but for the most part, knives, knives, knives. Maybe whomever views these photos might recognize some of them.
If interested to know what I've got, I'll be more than happy to post a followup list. Here are a few photos.

A GUN IN THE HAND IS BETTER THAN A COP ON THE PHONE.
It will also be some work to clean up the ones you want to keep. Likely some lubrication will be needed to improve snaps. Then, you will have to decide what to do with the ones you don't want to keep.

I'm working on a more organized list now, and will get around to some individual and group photos of what I have. It's quite time consuming, so I'm glad I'm retired and have the time, albeit, slow going. As a teaser: there are 8 electrician knives (camillus, camco, imperial), 13 SAK's, 6 of which are Victorinox, 5 money clip knives, a myriad of pen knives, and a lot more.
Ryan & Mark...I haven't forgotten about your interest in several pieces. I'll get photos to you and provide 'close up' info about them.

** X-Acto fine toothed saw w/red handle. Used for intricate wood working. Excellent condition.
** Old wooden awl for leather work or wood work. Has wood plug on end of handle. No markings
** Cigar Cutter / SS rectangle shaped two bladed cigar cutter / brass pins. No markings / Excel. Condition, works smoothly.
** RoBo Jr. circular knife sharpener. Works quite well, imho.
** Novelty wooden knife from kit / nice design / clip point. No markings
** SPYDERCO C28 Dragon Fly wood knife kit. (Unassembled) ‘Genuine spring action. Made 09 January 2017. Comes in metal tin.
** Large hand held drill with non-sharp small blade. Could be an old corkscrew for opening wine bottles. Never seen anything like it before. All SS / both tools open & close individually. Has cam-lock style design. No markings
** Novelty Knife / Very small / OAL is 3 5/8” / Blade is 2 1/4” / needs cleaning / no markings, not sharp. Handle ‘could’ be bone. Solid piece, no wobble.
** SS Marlin Spike, very solid. Eye hole for lanyard. 5 7/8” OAL. Very sharp point / no markings.
** Multi-Tool w/ “1997 Valley Chamber Scramble United Specialty Advertising” on scales. One large, one small “fork” tool, cap opener / screwdriver & a drop or spear point blade. Also has hole punch. (Must open hole punch by itself) Markings: SS China.
** (2) Multi-Tool (Victorinox style) These are small MT’s with Pen blade, file, scissors. Both appear to be in Mint Cond. and never used or carried. They both have toothpick & tweezer. Stamped “STAINLESS CHINA” / Both have black plastic covers.
** Multi-Tool / Very small w/scissors, punch, cork screw, small blade, main blade. Marked “STAINLESS JAPAN” Plastic scales / needs oiled / has bail. Closed length is 2 1/4”.

** Money Clip / This Money Clip appears to be a ‘personal’ item from the previous owner. It has “PETE” engraved on a small SS badge and then inset into the wood inlay on the front. The pen blade has “REMEMBERED” stamped on the tang and the file has “STAINLESS STEEL JAPAN” stamped on the tang. The file has dark patina, but in excel. Condition. I suspect ‘Pete’ passed away and these were given out in memory of him. This MC has been used, but still in very nice condition. I wonder why the previous owner didn’t keep it.

Cond.
** SAK “SOLINGEN” stamp w/ ‘Fox Face” logo on main blade. “Rostfrei” stamped on two other blades. Very good condition, albeit, the saw blade does not lock into position. May be an easy fix, but back spring appears out of place and sits high. ?? Needs cleaning, pivots have been oiled. Tools do not open smoothly due to non-use, but will open with an assist opening tool. Has saw, cap lifter, can opener, punch, corkscrew, pen blade, main blade.

** BUCK 112 4 Dot (1981 - 1986) However, 2 inches of the blade has been broken off. Not sure what I’ll do with this one. Might just reshape the blade, sharpen it up and use it around the house / garage. If I send it in to Buck, they’ll just put a modern day blade on it and it will lose its character. {{{shrug}}}
** Barlow Style Knife / “Custom Crafted Stainless” “Japan” “sharp” ™ 175 etched on blade. Wood scales, long pull. Has blade wobble.
** KA-BAR folding knife w/3 blades. Not in good shape. Blades half gone. Appears to be bone scales.
** CONGRESS, 2 bladed with “W.H. MORLEY & SONS, GERMANY” stamped on sheepsfoot blade, with ‘Four Leaf” clover logo on other side. Same on the Pen Blade. MOP scales. No cracks or chips. NM Blades have NOT been sharpened. Great snap. Almost 3” closed.
** Pocket knife, 2 bladed w/red plastic covers. “USA” only stamped on main blade. Nice, but needs sharpening and oiling at pivot points. Covers have shrinkage. Blades have patina.
** Pocket knife “SHEFFIELD MFG” twin bladed knife. (NOT a Sheffield England made knife) One blade is plain, other is serrated. Both are lock-back. Plain blade has seen use and needs sharpening. Both blades lock up tight and can be tightened using a hex tool. VG condition.
** Pocket Knife, Single clip blade, with “MARINELAND” on scales with a Dolphin. Tang stamped “Prov. Cut. Co.” “Prov. R.I. U.S.A.” Has seen use, needs sharpened. Closed length is 2 3/4”.

** IMPERIAL “CAMP KING” w/ can opener, cap lifter, punch, spear point blade. All blades open, but stiff & tight due to non-use. A good soaking in oil may help. {{{shrug}}} Has black metal covers. (??) Still very much usable. Main blade needs sharpening.
** IMPERIAL “CAMP KING” / Stamped “Imperial Prov. R.I. USA” This knife too needs some cleaning up. Blades are same as one above. Has silver metal covers. (??) Still very much usable. Main blade needs sharpening.
** IMPERIAL two bladed pen knife. Blades have slight patina, tight opening. Stamped “IMPERIAL PROV. R.I. USA” on tang.
** IMPERIAL Pocket Knife / two blades / a pen & clip point. Main blade stamped “STAINLESS IMPERIAL PROV. USA” / Pen blade stamped with Patent #’s - 2170537 / P2264833 / 2685400 / SS covers with some sort of plastic covering that is peeling off. One side has a raised ‘crown’ emblem on it. No snap in blades. Probably just needs cleaned & oiled up at the pivots. Knife is actually in pretty good condition. Blades need touched up / sharpened.
** IMPERIAL ‘trick’ Knife. Plastic ‘cracked Ice’ covers. Single Blade. Hold knife tip vertical to open, down to close, by pushing knife blade in. Unused w/ patina due to storage and non-use. Took me 30 minutes to figure out how to open/close this thing. *sigh* Has no nail nick. I can probably make money off this one at $10.00 / bet.
** COLONIAL Gold Tone single bladed Pocket Knife. Stamped “Prov. R.I. USA” “Washington DC” etched on handle. Doesn’t appear blade has been used, but needs to be sharpened. Good closing snap / has bail.
** “ULSTER USA 130” Pocket Knife. Spey blade has w/dark patina. Hook (gut hook ??) blade is hard to pull out due to non-use / storage. Pivot points need oiling. This knife is actually not in bad shape, just needs cleaning. Handles are SS. Has some moderate rust.
** “ULSTER KNIFE” stamped on both pen blades. Main blade stamped “DWIGHTE****& SONS” ON TANG. Can’t read last four letters. All three blades are quite worn. Scales appear to be smooth black bone. (??) Appears to be an equal end knife. Has ‘badge’ shield. 3 3/16” closed. This seems to be an old knife.z
** HAWKBILL Electricians Knife. Stamped “J MKLEIN & SONS CHICAGO MADE IN USA” on tang. Hawkbill blade is 60% gone due to extensive use or just bad sharpening technique. This knife has seen lots of use.
** QUEEN HAWKBILL, w/ “Q” stamp on tang. Locks up good, smooth opening/closing. Could use oil on pivot joints. Bone scales ?? / Blade needs some minor work, small minor chip on blade, but easily fixed. Still has some life to it.
** “GITS” Razor Nife / Made in USA. Razor is dull, but appears to be replaceable. (?)
** NECK KNIFE w/chain / This is a very small knife, but MINT. Nice bone. 1 1/2” closed. Stamped “FROST & SON” Etched “JAPAN” on opposite side. (Faded)
** KUTMASTER UTICA-N Pen Knife. Stamped “MADE IN USA”. An advertising knife with “Grissinger Motor Co.” “Rebuck, PA.” PH. Mandata 233W” etched on scales. Plastic synthetic scales (possibly celluloid. Both blades are decent, but need sharpening and cleaned.
** Lobster knife with “Stainless China” on tang. Clip blade, scissors, file, cap lifter. Covers appear to be plastic. Knife is clean & in good condition. Needs oil on pivot joints.
** Key Chain Knife, gold plated single blade. No markings. Blade hard to open. Blade does not appear to have ever been used or sharpened. SS / 2 1/2” closed.
** Pen Knife, single blade. Very small knife. “USA” stamped on tang…no other markings. Has patina / corrosion. Blade is 1 1/2” closed. Half stop.
** Pen Knife, single blade. Stamped “THORTON USA” on tang. Clip blade, half stop, black jigged bone, brass liners, bail. Serpentine shape.

** Pen Knife / Rectangular shape with pen blade, file and scissors. Scissors has broken spring. SS. Stamped “MADE IN ITALY”
** Pen Knife / 2 blades / Gold Tone SS / Stamped “PROV. CUT. CO., PROV. R.I. U.S.A.” Has bail, blade joints need oiling, very stiff to open due to non-use. Blades are in good condition / sharp.
** Pen Knife / “HIT USA” on tang. SS / covered w/patina. Single blade is decent, needs sharpening, has half stop, no snap. 1 3/4” closed. Very small knife.

** Pen Knife with “SCHRADE CUT CO. WALDEN, N.Y.” on tang and Pen blade. Bomb shield / synthetic pearl scales (??) No cracks or chips. Small scratched on one side. Blades are half gone.
** “ZIPPO” Single lock-back blade, stamped “ZIPPO USA, BRADFORD, PA” with “STAINLESS” stamped on opposite side. Locks up tight, no wobble, all SS. Has been carried, but blade appears to have never been used/sharpened. Opens / closes smoothly. 3 3/8” closed. Very nice EDC. Never seen one like this before.
** HOBO KNIFE / Small, only 2 5/16” closed. Stamped “G.C. Co. 162” and “SS Japan” on opposite side. Knife has fork, spoon, clip blade, cap lifter, jigged. Pins need work, one set sitting proud, like there used to be a bail attached, but is missing.All tools open smoothly and fork & spoon marked “Stainless”. Not sure what happened to the fork. Two of the tines appear to have been cut off and the center tine left…making it look as though it’s giving the ‘bird’. This is a pretty neat little knife…very unusual.
** Lock-Back single blade knife. Stamped “DETAIL, BANYAN BAY ELYRIA, OH” on tang. Blade needs sharpened, but appears unused. Black hard molded scales. (?) Great snap, opens / closes smoothly. This is a VERY unusual knife. The tang & blade are only 1 3/16” long, and the OAL is right at 4 1/2”. Closed length is: 3 1/4”. Great snap open/closing. Has slight blade wobble, but can be fixed by someone who knows what they’re doing.
** Lock-Back Knife / Stamped “STAINLESS JAPAN” Single blade. Blade opens/closes smoothly, needs sharpened, carried & used. Locks up tight, no wobble, no snap. 2 13/16” closed.
** Key Chain Knife / Single blade. Has “NEWPORT NEWS SHIP BUILDING 1986” “SAFETY FIRST” “THE WINNING EDGE” etched on SS covers. This is one of those small pocket knives one could get for dime a dozen way back when. I had many of these during my childhood days. 2 3/16” closed.
** (2) CAMILLUS Electricians Knives / Stamped “CAMILLUS NEW YORK USA” on tang. Both are exactly the same. Camillus has one line under it. Both need cleaning. Flat blade (screwdriver) does not lock out on one of them. Dark patina. Half-stops on both blades. Both still have lots of life. One has slight damage on covers…looks like they’ve been cut, but it does not affect the use of the knife itself. Still a good working knife.
** (3) CAMILLUS Electricians knives (one line above and one line under ‘Camillus’) There are three of these knives exactly the same. Each one has “CAMILLUS NEW YORK USA” on their tangs. One is used, the other two are actually pristine with very clean blades. They don’t appear to have been used. Flat blades lock tight / solid. No wobble. Half-stops on both blades. Excel. Condition. They may be hard to open due to non-use / storage. I have oiled the pivot joints.
** (1) CAMCO Electricians knife. Very good condition. Blade has patina. “CAMCO USA” stamped on tang. Half-stops, good snap, but hard to open due to non-use / storage, unkept.
** (1) IMPERIAL Electricians knife. Stamped “IMPERIAL PROV. R.I. USA” / Hard to open due to non-use / storage. Decent snap, needs cleaning. Blade VG.
** (1) KUTMASTER Electricians knife. “KUTMASTER STAINLESS USA” stamped on tang. Main blade has seen use, but still has good life. Needs oiling and cleaning. Still a very good working knife.
** COLD STEEL serrated Neck Knife. Blade etch: “COLD STEEL, INC, VENTURA, CALIF. MADE IN JAPAN” on one side, other side of blade is etched “READY EDGE”. Blade is SHARP. Molded rubber handle with Molded hard plastic sheath with key ring. 2” blade / OAL 4 3/4”. This is a neat little knife.
** Lock-Back Knife with single blade, brass bolster and nice wooden handle. Appears to be unused. Very nice condition with good snap. Nice EDC. Stamped “BTS” “SS JAPAN”. Blade is 2 3/16” / OAL is 5 3/8” / Closed length is 3 3/16”. At one time, it had a round medallion in one side of the wooden handle. Wood handles appear to be Rosewood. To unlock the blade, one has to push down on the slotted lanyard piece. It’s not very convenient to manipulate, but if one were to put a lanyard on it, then you’d just need to pull down on it to close the blade a lot easier.
** MULTI-TOOL / A unique little folding multi-tool that has six different tools, along with a 10” measuring scale when opened up. The tools are: A punch, flat head screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, scissors, file, and clip point blade. It also has three hex nut sizes for tightening nuts. Sizes are 3/8, 11/32, & 5/16. Closed length is 2 3/16” and 5/8” wide. Just right for the pocket or backpack. It is stamped “STAINLESS” on the top front, with “APPALACHIAN TRAIL” etched on the front. I suspect that; these were / are sold at some tourist place along the AT for hikers to purchase. {{{shrug}} It is a nifty little tool.
** Oval Shaped Lock-Back Knife / Very unique and different. No markings. Blade is curved with a cap lifter on the back of the blade. Cap lifter can be used in the closed position. Has a carabiner style clip to attach to belt loop or backpack. Blade is only 1” long. OAL of piece is 2”. This almost seems to be something one would use in an ‘emergency’. Has molded camouflage plastic covers. Mint
** CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO. / A model 22762 Cattaraugus with “CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO.” Stamp. Main blade has small chip near the tip, Pen blade is okay. Both blades have dark patina. No snap on either blade. Covers are plastic, with one side having the appearance of being ‘melted’ at one time from a heat source.
** REMINGTON UMC / Model # R6434 with MOP scales. Crack on one side in the middle. Two pen blades with a long pointed file. Point used to punch holes. (?) Tang stamp indicates a 1921 - 1924 year of make. 2 3/4” closed. Other than the crack, the knife is very good condition.
** NIFTY cap lifter & corkscrew. Stainless Steel. Stamped “NIFTY” Vaughan Chicago / Made in USA. Unique little tool. Never seen one like it before.

There was no description provided for what was in this lot, so really not sure what I'll be ending up with. Nevertheless, it will be exciting to sit down and go through these, list them on paper and go from there. There appears to be some "junk" items in the group, but for the most part, knives, knives, knives. Maybe whomever views these photos might recognize some of them.
