Hello: I am somewhat new to knives. Is this "Knive World" a monthly magazine or a book or periodical. Thanks, Jerry P.

Does KW come from Krause pubs? If so, I believe they are located near or in Ixonia, WI and I would almost be next door. Seems more likely that 9Ball has "the inside track"
Been speakin' to Deb have we 9????

Anyone direct me to a reputable distributor (not dealer) of Mastercraft and/or Robeson (new)(are they the same MFR?) knives?
I may start carrying them as I believe they are sorely under-represented. ::tear::
So are Schatt & Morgan, although I do have an account with Clarence Risner for the S&M's. ::tu::
Anyone think of another brand underrepresented(sp?) out there in "Knifey-Land?"
Thanks for your input either a pm or email.-glenn ::tu::

I think the only reason the poolman gets special preference is cause he has met wih the Sand Bar Stag. At least thats what Scully says.

Knife World is not part of Krause...Blade MAgazine is though.

Mastercraft is a sub-brand of Robeson....Robeson, Robeson Mastercraft, and Schatt & Morgan are all made by Queen Cutlery. I believe that the Robeson line is made exclusively for Smoky Moiuntain Knife works so they would be the wholesaler.

Since they are both made by Queen I wonder if Clarence Risner can help you with the Robeson line???

Knifeaholic is correct Glenn,
Robeson is made exclusively for Smokey Mtn. Knife Works. They say this at least 8 or 10 times on each show. Mondays and Fridays....

Now, Hey 9Ball...
You've gotten yet another issue of Knife World "BEFORE" I got mine!! Oh well, I guess I just don't have the contacts you have. ::tu:: Way to go pool dude.

later, ya'll WT3L

Way to make a "SPLASH" pool guy...

The fact that you get your copy so quickly just breaks me up, and I'm racking my brain as to why mine doesn't roll in here as quickly as yours. :x
I'm taking a cue from some of the guys and calling Mark, to see if it is just the spot where I live or what. ::disgust::

Not so... Fast Bill

Knife World Coincidence

Post by Mossdancer »

Hey Niner;
I just received my copy yesterday when I returned from finding this knife that is part of one of the lead aritcles. Lucky to find one in such nice condition, Not only had a sheath but I am pretty sure the one it was issued with.

Karma

Post by 9ball »

W.B.

That proves it.......That is what I call "Good Karma" around here! I started to post a photo/image of the cover.......Glad I did not now.
I see it still has a lot of the bluing on it also. Very Nice One ::nod::

BTW: In the Gerber Cant thread, The top knife is a KA-BAR not a Kinfolks, I had to look up another and noticed.
Add these images/photos & Notice the stacked leather handle/design compared to your's and the Author's.......
He also had/has a website http://www.usmilitaryknives.com & I believe he a member here also.

You also need to keep that "Good Karma" going by giving a feller a "Good Deal" on it. Ying & Yang ::tu::

When you have a chance see the forum post re: new forum categories and see if you agree with suggestion.

Good morning W.B. :D ,
I can go along with that. Most of the cutlery from "Other parts of the World" are straight anyway.

Spotted,
