What is Your Latest Old Schrade?

Schrade Cutlery Company was founded in 1904 by George Schrade, and his brothers Jacob and William Schrade. In 1946 Imperial Knife Associated Companies, (IKAC; an association of Ulster Knife Co and Imperial Knife Co) purchased controlling interest in Schrade Cut Co and changed the name to Schrade Walden Cutlery. In 1973 the name was changed to Schrade Cutlery. In 2004 Schrade closed due to bankruptcy.

This forum is dedicated to the knives that are the legacy of this company. This forum is not the place to discuss the replica knives currently being imported using the Schrade name.

What a haul, you must have been busy. Every one of those is a beauty. Love the old bones from that era and everything looks well done. Wow what an era that was for Schrades. Congrats, they are all beautiful.

Really great knives Roger, and definitely some rarities. ::tu::

I picked up a 4 5/16” jumbo stockman, schrade walden era. The cut co pattern for it is 81043. It’s not listed in the walden catalogs. This pattern has been on my radar for a while, I am glad to have found a decent example.

Paul, Roger, great knives as always, Roger that swell center is over the top ::tu::

Added 2 nice Schrade Cut Co auto's this week, a Paratrooper and a Schrade Hunting Knife saber clip which still has a faint etch, both knives fire strong and have perfect bone.

I've had this Schrade farmer's jack for a while now. It came from the collection of former Camillus president Nilo Miori. 4 1/8 closed.
