Toejammer and John, y’all are both sporting some fine Camillus knives there.
John it’s a wonder that old knife had survived in that condition! Fantastic!

Here is my most recent, pre-1960, CAMILLUS pocket knife. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, short line, first generation, "whittler" pocket knife.

JP, there's NOTHING "fill-in" about those three.
You did good.

A standard Camillus 2 blade bone EO Jack that was issued during WW II just sold on ebay for $156.49. It is used but in good shape. These are very common. I once had about 40 of them and then sold the lot to an ebay seller (about 6-7 years ago ?). I paid av. of $25-$30.
I think i might still have a couple of them around. $150 each
Wow !

Good ol EBay. The prices seem to go all over the place with the non bone handled pieces. Some of the bone Ww2 stuff is getting up there. Seems to be more guys going after that period stuff this winter.kootenay joe wrote: ↑Tue Feb 16, 2021 4:12 am A standard Camillus 2 blade bone EO Jack that was issued during WW II just sold on ebay for $156.49. Today this pocket knife joined my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It is a 1959 CAMILLUS (my 2nd), single blade, 3 tool pocket knife. A nice companion for the 1949, the 1958, the other 1959 and the 1960 MIL-K's that I posted previously. It is in EXCELLENT condition and required minimal cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Re: What is Your Latest Old Camillus? (pre-1960)
Afternoon folks, got this old Electricans/ lineman’s knife . It’s a 4 line with bones that have a few cracks, stabilized those and oiled the bone. Now would like to find a period correct bail. The book pics and info have helped, and the bail in the book looks to be similar? Does anyone have one of these in bone with a bail , that could shoot a pic , or advice. Don’t want to make one ,but willing to buy and install. Could just leave it but , either way here you go ,my latest Cam ,it’s all steel ,no brass , very tight piece.
Take care
