Newest Case Pick-Ups

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Agreeing with all the compliments! ::tu::
Question about the 06245, does it have one or two springs? Was reading about them in Knifeaholic's book after you posted.

That sure is some beautiful bone on that one. ::nod::

Curious: Is it common for pattern 75 from that era (Tested?) not to have any tang stamps? ::shrug::

Decided to try out a new pattern to feed my Wharncliffe addiction.

Ended up getting these three Tony Bose designed 028 Teardrops, two of which have a Wharncliffe blade, the third one has a "PVD" spear blade.
(PVD = Physical Vapor Deposition...I had to look it up!)

I've been looking at the Fire In The Box Mini-Trappers for months and finally said the heck with it and pulled the trigger. Had to contact Deadwood Knives to see if I could get a peak at what they have in stock so I could pick and choose. They were very accommodating and I placed an order. Should be here on Monday or Tuesday.

This is supposed to be what I'm getting.
