What a great save, that is a fine knife Wade. Everything a knife should be.Colonel26 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 1:50 pm Yesterday we featured the cutlery stylings of Jeffin, today it’s this gem from Glennbad. Boker USA cattle knife that formally was rusty with shrunken black mystery scales and a wobbly pen blade. Note she’s all gussied up in goldenrod bone and a custom shield.

Never bad to have Kokopelli on your desk. And that C Coon isn't bad either.
Well worn but still lovely.

Lol ZED is my nickname, started nearly 30yrs ago as rode a Z1000 Kawasaki, 6309 is a movement in a seiko divers watch , it's a number I easily remember, a bit like 4130 is another one , it's a number for cromoly tubing

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Phillip, no marking on the blades. Must have worn off or have been ground off. I showed it to Ed Landers and he said it was a Greenbone 92. Well worn greenbone. When I got it the handles looked dry. I oiled the covers and it just completely changed the scales. It needed a drink. I really think the handles just shine so pretty. Almost glows in person. The pics dont due it justice. I dont know why anyone would want to grind off the tang stampings. I was glad to have picked it up for 15 dollars at an antique store. It really is a great user.treefarmer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 26, 2021 9:34 pmwood walker, that’s an honest to goodness “pocket worn” Case! What tang stamp does it have?

OK, so in the ZED 6309 box on your work bench, there are Kawasaki parts for a Seiko divers watch.
Got it!
I have a word that I can easily remember.
Edit: Fishy story: Another word I can remember well is Esox.
Time for work.
