please help a bride choose groomsman gift knives!

Post by ibelieve »

Hi, I know nothing about pocket knives, but I want to buy each of our groomsmen a knife for our wedding. Can you reccommend a great knife that I can get for around $20-$30 or so. I need 4, and I think all purpose would be a good idea. I don't know if any of the guys own pocket knives already. They all fish and 3 of them are mechanics, if that helps at all to choose a good knife for them. I was looking at the kershaw ken onion storm II, not because I know anything about knives, but I like how it looks, and the price is good. I want a more rugged, solid looking knife, that they would like to carry and use, not just keep in a drawer as a memento type thing. Thanks a lot guys. Also, can you reccomend where I should buy from? Thanks.

Groomsmen Knives

Hello ibelieve;
I wont reccomend a knife but I will recommend for you to click the buy/sell category above. Cruise over to all the stores that this site has to offer. Wouldn't surprize me if you wanted 4 knives of one type that someone wouldnt cut you one heck of a deal. However I just collect and speak only from the hip so dont hold me to it. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials and hope your together longer than my wife and I. We are nearing forty three years.

I'll recommend one, since you were good enough to indicate you are interested in something which will be used, and in the $20 - $30 range.

The Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter is perhaps the best knife deal I know of. It's a rugged, well designed, high quality folder with good steel for a little over twenty bucks. If I do this right, this post will include a picture, and the link where you can buy it at this site.
