The blade etch signature belongs to Mr. Charlton Heston.
Not my knife, not my picture.
Thank you, Skip. That is good to know...much appreciated. ::handshake::
Knowing that enhances my appreciation of the knife significantly. :)

Thanks, Floyd. I didn't used to be a fan of wood handled knives, but they seem to be growing on me more and more. ::nod::

I added this one to my Mini Trapper EDC family today. It's the same length, but seems to be a little more in girth. A Stanley SL33. 3-1/2" long closed, black delrin handles with Yellow Stanley shield. It has a California Clip main blade with a serrated spey secondary blade. The grind seems to be similar to the New Grind style of blades. It has a short subdued match strike nail pull. Both blades have Good snap, but main blade does have a tad of wobble. Not excessive, but you can feel it. I know nothing of the Stanley Brand or who makes them, but for $17 I figured I would give it a shot! The only markings on the blades is a tang stamp with the same design as the Stanley shield on the front of the main blade and SL33 440 SS on the reverse. Will see how it does as an EDC.

That is a beautiful wood handle knife. If the wood hasn't grown on you yet, just let me know, I might be willing to lift that burden for you. :D

Cool knife, great wood and rifle. Always recall him saying they would have to pry it from his "cold, dead fingers." And of course who can forget, "Moses"? Iconic person and portrayal.

Wow...that's a Mini-T I have never seen before...now I have another "Unicorn" to hunt down. Very cool 8)

Before you EDC that one, The Monkey insisted that I tell you that if you ever want to sell or trade that one...I'm your go-to man/monkey. ::nod::

I love it when you put all that effort into training a woman and they finally get it.

Got this one from Linnea for Christmas.

But alas, this is a recent acquisition.

Thanks a lot, John & jerryd...I just barely managed to distract Mini-T Monkey from his tendency for reckless, out-of-control, unsustainable spending on Mini Trappers when you two had to go and dangle those irresistible beauties in my face.

For me, the shield kinda adds a classy look to it. In fact, I just bought it for the shield.

My favorite of the two is actually the Red Pearl Kirinite Cigar Band.

Very Nice "Q" ::tu:: Me Likey!! Yes if you save the photo and enlarge it with a photo editor program you can see a lot of subtleties in the edges of the color on the bone. Does the ACK suffix mean "Annual Club Knife"? Nice additon to your 07 family, I'm sure OCD Monkey is soothed for a bit!! :)
